Below is the first installment of a calendar of events from the Maranatha Singles Ministry. For those who are not Maranatha members, you are cordially invited to join us in our 30 and over Singles Ministry events. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email bernettebell@yahoo.com.

Snack and Chats - Snack and Chat -- All singles 30 yrs.old and older are invited to attend the grand re-opening of the Maranatha Singles Ministry Snack and Chat! Come and enjoy great food and Godly fellowship. 

 

Snack and Chats On the Move! Yes, we will be visiting local restaurants this year as apart of our growing, collaborative fellowship with other local singles ministries. You will need to sign up for the Snack & Chats On the Move events at the sign up table outside room 303 (Snack and Chat room) and please bring enough money to pay for your lunch!

May 3 - Dinner and a Show. The Singles Ministry will be attending a performance of "The Sound of Music" at Way Off Broadway Dinner Theater located 5 Willowdale Drive here in Frederick (near the KFC and Hair Worx salon - on Route 40). Cost for this event is $44.00 per person. Show arrival times are scheduled for 12:30pm - 12:45pm. Lunch will be served until 1:15pm. Performance begins promptly at 2pm. May 10 - Avalon Christian Contemporary Singing Group. Avalon will be performing at the Weinberg Theater. Performance begins promptly at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at the theater box office. Ticket costs - $28.00; $23.00; and $18.00. You may find more information regarding this singing group at www.weinbergcenter.org OR contact the theater's box office fore more details.  

 

May 24 - Visit Heritage Community Church of God in Severn, MD for their praise, worship, and dinner service held in the Cafe at Heritage. Dinner is served at 5:30pm and the free concert begins at 7pm.

June 15 - Snack and Chat On the Move! Snack and Chat will be held at the Golden Coral.

 

 

 

June 7 - Sight and Sound Theater located in Lancaster, PA. The Maranatha Singles Ministry will be attending the dinner (4:15pm) performance of Abraham and Sarah at Sight and Sound. For a group of 15 or less the cost will be $54.00 per person; for group of 15 or more the cost will be $51.00 per person.

 

June 14 - 27th annual Alexandria Red Cross Waterfront Festival. Join us as we attend this family festival in the sun! Cost per person is $15.00 for adults; children (3-12): one child free with paying adult; additional children $5.00. Children under 3 years of age are free.

 

June 21 - 16th annual Safeway National Capital Barbeque Battle. Let's eat! Join us for this nationally known barbeque battle. Tickets into the battle zone are: $10.00 for adults; $5.00 for children ages 6-12; ages 5 and under are free. Battle zone tickets can be purchased online @ http://www.bbqdc.com/tickets2.htm OR at the entry gate upon your arrival.

 

June 29 - Collaborative July 4th celebration with Heritage COG Singles Ministry; Chuch of the Brethern's Positively Single; Church of the Redeemer's Singles Edge and the First Baptist Church of Glen Arden's Singles Ministry. Ministries will be invited to help us celebarte our nations birthday! Come out and help us welcome these ministries to the best celebration in town!
