PS is a covenant organization.The purpose of this covenant is to give the group boundaries within which to flourish, provide guidance, and to establish integrity within the leadership of  Positively Single.

1. Have made a public profession of faith that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate and are actively involved in a Christian church/fellowship/congregation of believers.
2. Live an exemplary (not perfect) Christian life.
3. Have committed to one year of service as a group leader.
4. Are called and chosen to serve in whatever capacity their talents will be most useful.
5. Strive to meet the qualification set forth in Titus 1:7-9
The leaders of the group commit to:
  • prayer for the group
  • accountability to other core group members, and
  • attendance of events and leadership meetings.
When unable to attend, will arrange for another member or leader to fulfill responsibilities and will provide the information and tools to do so.  The leaders also seek to develop leadership in the regular attendees of the group in anticipation they will someday move to a leadership role. Guidelines for filling leadership offices:Perspective leaders will be prayerfully evaluated, selected, and solicited  by the leadership group from qualified, committed participants who attend meetings on a regular basis (Acts 6:3-6). The commencement of term of office will generally take place the first Friday in February. However, new leaders may be installed throughout the year.

 Director                                                      Gail

Oversees entire organization including  arranging Friday night and leadership meetings, leading prayer and devotions, and directing committee activities.  With the leadership team sets goals for the group and oversees attaining them. Spokesperson to the community. Gifts: leadership, administration, communication, encouragement

 Assistant Director                                             Eva Dell 

Assists and substitutes for the Director as needed and provides communication support. Gifts: leadership, administration, communication, helps

Secretary/Treasurer                                    Ella

Records minutes of Leadership Team meetings and oversees organizational correspondence, and collection and disbursement of funds.
Gifts: administration, communication
 
Hospitality/Refreshments                           LuAnn/Jenne
Sets up the refreshments, manages the supplies,  Gifts:  hospitality, service.
Activities                                                   Betty
Managers the Supper Club and develops additional weekend activities for the group
and their families.  Gifts:  hospitality, leadership, communication.
Set Coordinator                                                   Monte
Assists in setting up for the Friday evening activities.  Gifts:  service, communication
